The Team
You will be part of the Technical Development team for Women’s North America Denim, working in close collaboration with Design, Product Development, and Merchandising. This dynamic and creative environment is driven by a shared focus on innovation, quality, and building a strong foundation of fit and consistency across every season.
The Position
As Pattern Developer Womenswear, your main responsibility will be to establish, refine, and manage core woven blocks for the women’s collection. You’ll assess current blocks, identify fit issues, and implement improvements that support both creative direction and commercial viability. Your work ensures that future styles can build upon a solid and consistent block library.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and assess existing woven blocks to identify gaps and fit inconsistencies.
- Align target fits and priorities with key stakeholders across Design, Tech, PD, and Merchandising.
- Develop and test new or improved blocks for key categories such as denim, pants, dresses, and shirts.
- Organize fit sessions, gather feedback, and implement necessary adjustments.
- Ensure updated blocks are implemented in the PLM system, including correct global grading.
- Create a clearly labelled and accessible block library for cross-functional use.
- Deliver a final block library overview and conclude with a sign-off presentation to leadership.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in technical fittings with strong attention to detail.
- Background or skills in pattern cutting are a strong plus.
- Knowledge of PLM systems is a plus.
- Analytical, structured, and highly accurate in your way of working.
- Strong communicator with the ability to align diverse teams around shared goals.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
