Over de functie
For our client, we are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the accuracy and quality of content on their corporate website. You will be responsible for reviewing and testing various types of content, including text, images, links, and multimedia elements, to ensure a seamless and error-free user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Examine all website content for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to corporate guidelines and standards;
- Test website functionality, such as links, forms, and interactive elements, to ensure they work as intended;
- Verify content compatibility across different web browsers and devices to ensure a consistent user experience;
- Collaborate with content creators and web developers to implement necessary changes or updates to the website content;
- Document and report any issues, inconsistencies, or defects found during testing using established bug-tracking tools and procedures;
- Conduct regression testing after content updates or website changes to ensure previous functionality remains intact;
- User Experience Testing, assess the overall user experience and provide feedback for improvements in usability and accessibility;
- Design and develop well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product features and user stories. Contribute to release planning;
- Use test management applications/tools for automated testing & tracking test results.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Javascript based testing framework;
- Familiarity with Cypress & Postman automation;
- A bachelor or master degree (Computer Science/E-commerce);
- Experience in various techniques (functional, browser compatibility, user acceptance and regression);
- Software testing certification & QA/testing tool training and certification are a plus.
