About the job

The team:

The Technical Development team is dedicated to creating and providing innovative and environmentally conscious products for the brand. This team oversees the entire technical development process, from conception to the final production of garments, focusing on achieving top-notch quality and product excellence while meeting company and divisional performance indicators. 

The Position :

The ideal candidate will be proficient and experienced in the technical development of children's clothing, particularly in woven and outerwear categories. Expertise in denim would be highly valued. The Senior Technical Developer is accountable for managing and updating Kids block libraries and spearheading the creation of new seasonal silhouettes across the global supply chain. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Engage in research and development activities.
  • Attend fit sessions, record feedback, and facilitate internal and external communication.
  • Maintain data integrity in PLM, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Follow critical path timelines to support collection development and production.
  • Collaborate with overseas offices, sourcing, and quality assurance on quality issues, and handle ad hoc tasks such as sample organization and reporting.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 6-10 years of Kidswear technical development experience.
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in fashion, garment technology, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficiency in close-to-body and intimates product knowledge, including pattern cutting and technical construction.
  • Familiarity with PLM, Gerber or equivalent software, and 3D software such as Browzwear/Gerber 3D & Adobe suite is advantageous.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, with a hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and fluency in English.
